*sCaRf * ShAwL*

It's finished.. finally.. I tucked in the ends and blocked it last night.. not perfect but I'm pleased with it. I forgot to put my camera back to a larger picture setting sorry about that.. The shawl is very sheer and light. The yarn I used is Feza kid mohair in the verigated brown..on size 7 needles.

and of course.. I casted on the diamond center rectangle shawl. For this shawl I'm using Colinette Parisienne

I already like this pattern because there is a plain purl row in between the lace row.. and the yarn is just yummy!!!

I absolutely love that shawl and how simple it is. It will look fantastic this summer in the sun. The colors are beautiful. I may have to find some fancy handpainted mohair and knit one up!

Very nice, good job on your very first project. I love the color of the yarn. The simple pattern was an excellent showcase of the yarn.

You did a great job. First shawls are often the hardest, regardless of the difficulty of the pattern. Just learning to use that SKINNY yarn can be trying. I'm glad you got to the point of comfort and have started on your next project. I think you will find fuzzy and skinny it's own challenge.
